Our History
We have been actively engaged in activities throughout the territory of Artsakh for years under the name of the “Zepyour” environmental non-governmental organization founded in 2003. Initially a youth club focused on environmental preservation, Zepyour became more active since 2012, initiating tree plantings, restoration of churches, doing workshops to promote environmental values and practices, and cleaning natural sites.
Sadly, after the 2020 war in Artsakh, most of our operations stopped due to personal losses and the restrictions caused by the war. On September 19, 2023, as a result of the war in Artsakh/Nagorno-Karabakh, we were among 150,000 ethnic Armenians forcibly displaced and took refuge in Armenia. Despite these challenges, we are determined to continue our mission. We have rebranded and expanded the geography of our activities, focusing on Armenia and beyond to pursue our environmental and social goals.
